Matt Grodsky has been a political spectator all his life. He currently holds the position of Partner | Vice President at Matters of State Strategies, a general consulting firm that served as the consultant for Adrian Fontes' successful campaign for Arizona Secretary of State in 2022. During the campaign, Grodsky was the communications director.

Grodsky has an impressive record of service on various political campaigns, including those for gubernatorial, congressional, legislative, and state party offices. Notably, he served as the director of communications for the Arizona Democratic Party between 2019 and 2021, where he played a key role in helping Arizona elect its first Democratic President in 25 years.

In recognition of his work, Grodsky has won over 35 awards, including Pollie Awards from the American Association of Political Consultants. He is often featured in human interest stories in major media outlets. In addition to his political work, Grodsky has managed marketing and communications for numerous public and private sector clients for various marketing firms. He also serves as an elected Precinct Committeeman in Arizona.
