This married couple met in preschool. Laura Scheel and Matt Grodsky were childhood best friends and now, 20 years later, they are husband and wife. Matt and Laura went to preschool together but then fell out of touch for around seven years. They reconnected in high school through a mutual friend, and they have been a couple ever since. “Looking back on it, it was probably weird,” says Laura, but they both agree they realized pretty quickly that they wanted to be together forever. In college, Matt and Laura went to different schools but made long-distance work. And in 2015, Matt proposed to Laura at the preschool where they met. “I had brought a picnic basket that my dad had used to propose to my mom, and I got down on one knee and pulled out the ring.” They got hitched in December, 2016 and remain happily married today.
